The project aims to determine the potential of a newly drilled geothermal well, evaluate the well test measurements, and develop a future well completion proposal.
The well test evaluation was completed by utilizing all the available geological data sets. An internationally well-known commercial well test software was applied in the interpretation work considering the geothermal well’s specification.
These measurements and interpretation outcomes made it possible to determine the possible size of the water-bearing formation(s) and assess the expected range of the well’s daily production rate.
The daily volume of produced water published by the operator was achievable based on the calculation, and in parallel, the well completion and lifting technology was developed. The optimization of the required ESP power and installation depth provided a good base for launching the project.
